Workshop on the registration process for the International Professional Register of Engineering Educators (ENTER)

As part of the Ecuadorian Tertiary Educators Transformation and Learning Enhancement – ETALENT project, a workshop was held on the registration process for the International Professional Register of Engineering Educators (ENTER), aimed at faculty members of the Tourism program of the Faculty of Natural Resources.

The session took place on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the two learning environments of the CDC Yankay Capacity Development Center, a space dedicated to strengthening academic and professional competencies. The event began with welcoming remarks by Eng. Carlos Jara, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources, who highlighted the relevance of these continuous training processes for strengthening educational quality and the international projection of faculty members.

The workshop was led by engineers Paula Alejandra Abdo Peralta and Gabriela Estefanía Román Santamaría, research professors at the Faculty of Natural Resources, who shared their knowledge and experience regarding the registration process on the ENTER platform. During their presentation, they addressed the requirements, stages, and evaluation criteria necessary to access this international recognition, emphasizing the benefits it offers in terms of professional development, academic mobility, and institutional positioning.

This initiative allowed faculty members to strengthen their capacities and gain first-hand knowledge of the opportunities offered by the ENTER registration, promoting a culture of continuous improvement in educational practice.

In this way, ESPOCH reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence by promoting actions that contribute to the internationalization and comprehensive development of its teaching community.
