As ETALENT progresses through the first year of its four-year structural project, the consortium is already observing the first stage of educators engaging in the diagnosis of their professional competences through the International Professional Educators Register (iPER).
The educators involved come mainly from ETALENT partner institutions, including Escuela Politécnica Nacional, Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo, Universidad Estatal de Milagro, Universidad Nacional de Loja, Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, and Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas – ESPE.
At the same time, the process is confirming the wider outreach of the project across Ecuador, with participation from educators from Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo, Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi, Universidad Regional Amazónica Ikiam, Universidad Técnica del Norte, Universidad Técnica de Machala, Universidad Internacional del Ecuador, Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, Instituto Superior Tecnológico Carlos Cisneros, Universidad Politécnica Estatal del Carchi, Universidad Tecnológica Empresarial de Guayaquil, and Universidad de Investigación de Tecnología Experimental Yachay.
These educators are now positioned to access the next stage of ETALENT training, which will support a comprehensive reskilling process and strengthen professional development pathways for higher-education educators in Ecuador.
